We are located at The Central, Clarke Quay
To date, we have more than 20,000 aesthetic related patient visits in our database, with the majority having facial augmentation performed by Dr Tan himself.
Our clientele consists largely of international medical travellers who have come specifically for facial augmentation, as well as local patients.
WHAT WE DO
The Natural Look
At YVL Medical Aesthetics, we focus mainly on facial injectables, being Botox/Dysport (commonly referred to as Botox) and fillers (mainly hyaluronic acid), with the main aims of:
- Reversing signs of aging
- Correcting areas of defects (e.g. flat nose bridge, short chin, sunken temples)
The result is an improvement in one’s beauty. Sometimes we do utilize machine-based treatments like HIFU, RF and skin boosters to augment our results, but our results stem mainly from highly controlled and judicious placement of fillers and Botox/Dysport in the correct amount and correct location to obtain natural results.
What we aim for is to have a balanced and symmetrical look, be it at rest, when smiling, when frowning or for that matter when making any sort of expression – The Natural Look.
Satisfying the Uncommon Need
Due to the number of cases we have performed, we are able to offer fillers for less commonly done areas, including:
- Lower eyelids (creation of lovebands)
- Tear trough/eyebag treatment
- Various types of facial grooves and depressions, whether over the sides or front.
If you have specific requests for fillers and are unable to find a doctor to perform the procedure, perhaps we may be able to assist.
Full Face Fillers
Liposuction with fat grafting to the face is a reasonably popular procedure done for large volume facial augmentation.
However, some patients have very poor survival rates for the grafted fat, with some experiencing 0% survival even after multiple attempts. For these patients, we offer full face fillers as an alternative – anywhere from 6 to 20 mls of facial fillers!
“Correction of Facial Asymmetry”
Some patients have marked asymmetry of the left and right face, primarily due to a difference in size in the cheek bones or jaw bones.
For those who opt not to operate, fillers can be used to partially correct the defects on a temporary basis (6 to 12 months).
Some patients may also experience facial asymmetry as a result of:
- Bone reduction surgery
- Tilted nose implant
- Tilted chin implant
- Previous threadlift or face lift
At YVL Medical Aesthetics we are able to correct these often subtle differences using a combination of facial injectables.
