We are located at The Central, Clarke Quay
To date, we have about 20,000 aesthetic related patient visits in our database, with the majority being facial augmentation cases performed by Dr Tan.
Our clientele consists largely of non-Singaporeans with PRC and Thai nationals being the majority of our patients, and we are currently a leading service provider for them.
WHAT WE DO
The Natural Look
At YVL Medical Aesthetics, we focus mainly on facial injectables, using neurotoxins (commonly referred to as Botox) and dermal fillers (mainly hyaluronic acid), with the main aims of:
- Reversing signs of aging
- Correcting areas of defects (e.g. flat nose bridge, short chin, sunken temples)
The result is an improvement in one’s beauty. Sometimes we do utilize machine-based treatments like Thermage FLX and HIFU to augment our results, but our results stem mainly from highly controlled and judicious placement of fillers and neurotoxins in the correct amount and correct location to obtain natural results.
What we aim for is to have a balanced and symmetrical look, be it at rest, when smiling, when frowning or for that matter when making any sort of expression – The Natural Look.
Satisfying the Uncommon Need
Due to the number of cases we have performed, we are able to offer fillers for less commonly done areas, including:
- Lower eyelids (creation of lovebands)
- Tear trough/eyebag treatment
- Various types of facial grooves and depressions, whether over the sides or front.
If you have specific requests for fillers and are unable to find a doctor to perform the procedure, perhaps we may be able to assist.
Full Face Fillers
Liposuction with fat grafting to the face is a reasonably popular procedure done for large volume facial augmentation.
However, some patients have very poor survival rates for the grafted fat, with some experiencing 0% survival even after multiple attempts. For these patients, we offer full face fillers as an alternative – anywhere from 6 to 20 mls of facial fillers.
Facial Asymmetry Correction
Some patients are born with visible asymmetry of the face, primarily due to a difference in size in the cheek bones or jaw bones.
Facial asymmetry may also occur as a result of:
- Bone reduction surgery
- Tilted nose implant
- Tilted chin implant
- Previous threadlift or face lift
For those who opt not to operate or are un-suitable candidates for surgery, dermal fillers with/without neurotoxins can be used to correct the defects. Whilst dermal fillers may last only up to 18 months, they are easy to perform and can be repeated conveniently without much down-time.
